How to wash a human hair wig ?

We all know that human hair wigs are made from real hair, so they’re really expensive and delicate ,you need to be extra careful when you wash them.  Afsister will show you how to wash your human hair wig.

1.Comb or brush the wig starting from the ends before washing.Put some warm water in the sink and then add some shampoo in the water. Put the wig in the water and press down on the fibers to submerge them.

 

2.Hold the middle of the wig, add more shampoo on it and do the squeezing motion up and down, be gentle as possible. Through out the washing process just make sure the hair is hanging straight down. Do not do any circular motions. Then soak the wig for 5 minutes. Make sure that the wig is completely submerged in the water. Do not move the wig around during this time.

3.Rinse the wig with warm water until the shampoo is all gone. Depending on how thick the wig is, you may have to rinse it twice.

4.Apply conditioner to the wig. Use any conditions as long as it’s moisturizing and then give it another comb starting from the tips.

5.Wait 2 minutes before rinsing the conditioner out with warm water. Once the 2 minutes are up, rinse the wig with warm water again until the water runs clear. Squeeze from top to bottom the excess water.
